Bert Kaempfert A Swingin’ Safari (by boswell69)

This is what Bev says about this gem:

When it comes to music I am a TOTAL dag. I love a good chintzy retro record….yep you heard it…..Record!

I lived in St Kilda for most of my 20’s in a fabbo house. The record player was always on with the likes of Trini Lopez…..Sunny yesterday my life was filled with pain….. and Englebert Humperdinck..Quando Quando Quando…. But the one album of the collection that always got the sillyness started was Bert Kaempfert’s SWINGING SAFARI…..with my all time popular favourite Afrikaan Beat. Seriously, you just try putting it on at a party and not get a reaction. And I’m talking real daggy dancing. Don’t just take my word for it…have a listen… a smile will cross your face and you’ll start swinging your arms with fists together tyrannasaurus rex fashion and pick up that Safari beat…

Check out Shane & David from the Umbilical Brothers tropfest entry for 2012.

A man is questioned in an unnamed room. His interrogator will not let him leave until he gets the answer. For assistance he calls in Johnson, whose efforts seriously undermind his authority.
